We Love Food

IMG_4219We’re Patty and Ladybug, and we love food. The only problem is, one of us has a gluten sensitivity. The other thinks a diet change might help with distractibility. And neither of us feel very well after eating preservatives. We love all types of food but we love our health more, so we’ve decided to change some things. First, and most importantly, we’re eliminating preservatives. I, Patty, declare that I love chocolate, Lucky Charms, pizzelles and all things sweet. I, Ladybug declare that I love, love, love anything bready – pizza, for sure, doughnuts, glazed especially, and any sandwich shop in view. But we have to do better than this. So we’re starting a wild adventure in eating healthier and I Patty, will be sharing what we learn with you. Cuz who needs preservatives!

If you’d like to join us in our journey, please make sure you check with your doctor about any diet changes.

I am also working on a memoir about the challenges of immigration, racism in America and the unraveling of my relationship with my parents, which quickly worsens with the news that I have an American boyfriend. I was supposed to have an arranged marriage. Yikes.

  3. Patty, Ladybug, and the entire Food is Life community – Cheers to your health!!! This blog is so awesome. For one, it is important for people with similar goals to share with each other their experiences, knowledge, successes, and areas in which they wish to improve. Second, since food is something I can’t live without (literally), I am determined to make this relationship work well; this blog is me metaphorically lying on the coach for my counseling sessions. Finally, the pictures on this blog are so cool. 🙂 I am excited to see what comes next.

    Bountiful blessings to you all

  4. Patty J, Ladybug, and the entire Food is Life community – Cheers to your health!!! This blog is remarkable for multiple reasons. First, it is great to have an opporutnity to exchange information with people who have similar experiences and goals. Second, this forum creates a sense of belonging. I no longer feel as though I am the only person in the world concerned with what I put into my body. Finally, the pictures are really cool – I cannot wait to see what comes next. All in all, I will say what has already been said; the idea to create this blog was genius. Thank you Patty J and Ladybug for creating it. Thank you Food is Life community for the opportunity to engage with you.

    Bountiful Blessing to you all.
